As much as I love all the clients that I get to work with, sometimes I just have to get out and do some creative photoshoots for my own personal growth. So I recently started working as a contributing artist for Offset – a high-end division of Shutterstock that focuses on unique and authentic imagery that evokes emotion. This was right up my alley as I adore lifestyle photography and it has allowed me to focus not only creating art for my personal portrait clients but to also create work for myself (and provide some supplemental income…which is never a bad thing! haha)
We started off with some portraits at one of my favorite coffee shops in town – Bandit Coffee Co (which is more with regards to aesthetics since most of you know I hate coffee! lol). Next, we headed to the Dog Bar St Pete as we had hoped to take a few photos with her and her pups, but they were closed so we grabbed a few of just her before heading toward the Morean Center for Clay. After that we headed back towards downtown, hitting up one of St Pete’s newer hotels – the Miami chic inspired – Avalon Hotel, took some photos near the waterfront, and finished up with some sunset images from atop one of the downtown parking garages. We seriously had such a blast with this portrait session…and I mean…the girl can’t take a bad photo, so the resulting images set my creative desire ablaze! Such a rewarding session. Here are a few of my favorites from this shoot. Enjoy!
