Golden Era Baseball Inspiration Shoot

With opening day here (Go Tribe!), I figured what better time to post this fun, baseball-inspired shoot I recently did.  This past February I headed west to Las Vegas for WPPI’s annual photography conference and expo.  This year, while I was over there, I stepped away from the conference rooms and trade show floor for a little bit for an opportunity to do a 1920’s golden era baseball inspired shoot hosted by Victor Sizemore.  We headed over to Big League Dreams (In Vegas it’s a fun replica of Fenway Park stadium) for an afternoon of shooting.  A big shout out to Victor (who not only hosted, but modeled!), Chip Gillespie, Jared Powell, Kiti Kobain, Alexis, and Amelia C  & Company Hair and Makeup Artistry  for making it such a fun afternoon of shooting!  It was such a great experience getting the opportunity to shoot outside my normal comfort zone in terms of the style of the shoot and to also be able to work along side a bunch of really amazing photographers, getting to see their perspectives on handling the shoot was beyond cool! I hope you enjoy!

(P.S. – Be sure to check out the fun uniform that Kiti is wearing below.  If it looks familiar it’s because it was from the movie “A League of Their Own”!)

(If you would like to see more photos from the shoot – or purchase any – you can do so here: Golden Era Baseball)
