Wow. This past fall flew by and now winter seems to be going equally as quick. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just next week, and I have yet to blog all my wonderful family sessions that I had when I was back in Cleveland this past October. Eek! So I decided to dedicate my afternoon to just that! I’m so incredibly thankful that I have so many amazing families that will still call upon me to photograph memories with their loved ones, despite the fact that I moved 6 states away. Below is a recap of some of my favorites from these sessions. Enjoy!
My first session from my visit to Northeast Ohio was with Tracy and her handsome little son RJ. I last visited with them in March to celebrate RJ turning one. With this fun mommy & me session, we visited their new home and also took some fun shots of the two of them in their jammies…perfect for holiday cards! <3
Next I got to meet with the Leedy family where we captured some photos documenting how Cameron is going to become a big brother! These bring me back down memory lane when I first photographed Jess and Seth and they were expecting with Cameron. How quickly time flies!
Next up was an extended family session with the Taylor clan. My friend Kelly surprised her hubby Greg with a big 40th birthday bash and made sure to invite family in from out of town. So to make the most of this special occasion, she made sure to schedule family portraits while everyone was in town. Aren’t they a good looking family?!
Then the next day, I got to start my day with the Liguzinski Family at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Let me tell you…I wish my older was as kind to me as Grant is to his kid sister Madeline. They are just so sweet to watch together! <3
Then later that evening I got a reminder of the chilliness that October in Ohio can be! I had two sessions by Lake Erie at Edgewater Park and we had some bitter cold winds and even a little sleet, but we managed! The first session I took was for the Schneider family. I first photographed Katie & Erik back in 2011 for their wedding. Since then, they had a beautiful baby girl – Loralai, and I’m beyond honored that they drove from Michigan to Ohio, just to do a family session with me! <3 Be sure to scroll to the bottom. We incorporated a little something that has been a theme in all their portrait sessions! 😉
My final session on that day was with the Spiert family. The last time I saw these three was right after little Evelyn was born. Now she was walking (rather running) like crazy and full of such amazing personality! We had so much fun playing with the leaves and sticks, but then it did get a little too cold for her and that’s when I captured the last shot. I don’t blame her for her reaction. It was bitter cold that day! So thankful we got to get in some shots though!
My last family session was with the Puchmeyers! I hadn’t seen them since their latest addition of baby girl Frankie. Despite it being Michigan colors (Go OSU!), I absolutely adored everyone’s outfits. We headed into downtown Cleveland to get a more urban feel with their family portraits. Such a blast! Even their Au Pairs joined in on the family photo fun!
