They always say, “Home is where the heart is”, so why wouldn’t you also make it where you get your engagement photos taken? That is exactly what we did the utterly adorable Natasha & Brendon. Natasha contacted me a few months back about doing an at-home engagement session. When she did, she also told me about how the the lovebirds first met, and it is SUCH a cute story! They met on Facebook! Natasha showed up on Brendon’s “people you may know” and he sent her a friend request. He was a part of a bachelor auction night for the Wounded Warrior Project and she thought he was just trying to promote the event. After a a week of nothing really happening between them on Facebook, Natasha got some liquid courage to send him a message while she was on a delayed flight back home. The chemistry was there and two days later they had their first date. She ended up being his plus one to the charity auction night, and while she didn’t make it to the bidding, she ultimately won him and his heart. Adorable, right??
While prepping for their session, I asked them a little bit about what they love to do together and what makes them so perfect for each other. Some of the things they love to do are run and bike together, drinking wine, brewing beer, playing board games together, and just snuggling up together on the couch or in bed with a movie. Uhhh..I think I just found myself some new BFF’s! Haha. These two were so adorable! As soon as the session started, you could immediately see the intimate, yet playful connection they had, and sincere joy in their eyes when they were in each other’s company. I was literally a puddle of sappy goo by their end of it because of said cuteness! Below are some (okay, a lot) of my favorites from their session. Enjoy!
