Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a studio? No, I do not have a studio. I travel to you and your choice location. I find having my clients in an environment that they are comfortable in allows for their personality to pop through in their images. Please note though, any travel outside of a 30-mile radius of zip code 44107 is subject to additional fees.

How long will it take to get my photos back? It will take up to 2 weeks to view images from your portrait session.  Please allow 6-8 weeks to view images from your wedding.

How far in advance should I book my shoot? With working another job, my time fills up quickly! So the sooner we can arrange a date, the better!

I want to make an album of my images as a gift!  How much time should I allow for album design? I would recommend allowing an additional 5 weeks for album design, ordering, and delivery.

How far along in my pregnancy should I have my photos taken?  An ideal time for a shoot is sometime in your 7th or 8th month.

When should I schedule a newborn session? If you want photos where the baby still curls up in a cute little ball, I would suggest having them done within the first 5-10 days, if possible. If you want them a little more wide-eyed, aim for 2-3 weeks.  I know newborns can be fussy sometimes, so know that we can take as many breaks as needed. Also note, we can get a tentative date scheduled for you while you are pregnant, and then just adjust the date, if needed, when baby arrives.

What should we wear for a family session? I recommend simple clothing as it is great for timeless portraits and so the photos don’t become too busy. Wearing coordinated, but not necessarily matching, outfits are great to create a unified look. Try to stay from bright white shirts (off-white is better!), and wearing the exact same outfits. Fun accessories (jewelry, hats, scarves, etc.) are always a plus too!

Can you change these images to color, b&w, touch up a blemish, etc. after you have already edited the images?I do make sure to spend time after your photoshoot editing your images to bring them “picture perfect”! But if you want to make some changes, I am more than happy to provide some secondary edits, for a minimal fee.
