So I have to say that baby James takes the cake when it comes to the calmest baby I have probably ever photographed! This adorable little munchkin was sooooo good about keeping “passed out” for our session. I almost didn’t know what to do with myself…newborn sessions generally take lots of time and patience, so when I was finding myself able to get my shot within the first or second try, it was like “Wow!” Haha. Thank you for making my job easy, little guy! ![]()
Check out some of my favorite images below. Is he not the cutest thing ever?!
Have I mentioned lately that I’ve been doing a lot of maternity and newborn sessions? (See last post for reference! Haha). This big boy (all 9.9 lbs of adorable baby chunk), aka Mr Emmett , made his appearance right after Saint Patty’s day! His mom and dad sure are LUCKY because he’s a cutie pie! Check out some favorites below!
It seems like lately I have been doing nothing but maternity and newborn photo sessions. You know what though? When I get to photograph adorable little bundles of joy as cute as little Miss Evelyn, I am in ABSOLUTELY okay and in love with this fact!
Congrats to Shauna and Michael on the addition of this sweet, beautiful, little girl!
I had such a good time photographing little Mr. Casey. He was such a calm baby and had the most pinchable baby chub I’ve seen in a while! Love those baby cheeks! Haha. And you NEED to see just how handsome he looked in a denim vest and also his football knit cap! Check out a few of my favorite photos from spending the afternoon with the Yanko family.
Back in February, Chad and Jackie welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Miss Naomi, into the world. It was love at first sight for this new mom and dad team and I can see why. Naomi is definitely a cutie pie! Check out some of my favorite photos from their session below.
Miss A is seriously the sweetest little peanut around! Those adorable eyes and that beautiful smile of hers just won me over! And what better way to celebrate a first birthday with this sweat pea than with some pearls, pigtails, tutu’s and a super yummy smash cake! Happy first birthday, Miss A!
I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph the Taylor family since they welcomed their eldest daughter, Grier, 2 years ago. And this sweet little girl has definitely grabbed a good chunk of my heart over the past 2 years. And now, this past December, the family welcomed the newest addition, baby Kate. And she is just as adorable as her big sister. I think my heart might just burst from all the adorableness I see whenever I head over to their home. Here’s a peek as some of that cuteness…see what I mean?!
Amanda & Cole welcomed their first born baby girl into the world at the beginning of this November. Life got a little hectic for this newly expanded family (as would be expected), so we actually ended up photographing baby Callista a little before she turned 2-months-old. So while these may not quite be “newborn” photos, it actually worked out in our favor as I think this sweet pea was a little more attentive and wide-eyed (with her gorgeous blue eyes) than she may have been at only a week old. So have no fear if you are running behind the eight ball! We can still make sure to capture some precious moments of your little one. Here are a few from my session with baby Callista!
An adorable baby, a ridiculous sailor hat, and a charming doggie. What else could you possibly ask for to make one of the CUTEST baby sessions ever?! Throw in baby Marco’s insanely beautiful parents (Carmela + Ben) and you will see why I was in heaven photographing this session. Check out some of my favorite images below (and believe me, it was hard to narrow them down to this many!)
Now that the December holidays have concluded, it’s time to do a little catch up with some of the holiday portrait sessions on the blog! I know it’s the new year and some of you may have already put your Christmas trees away (scrooges! Haha), but I held off on sharing these because I didn’t want to ruin the surprise for anyone’s holiday cards that they sent out to friends and family!
So here are a few of my favorites from these sessions. I’m so incredibly thankful to have such wonderful clients! I hope all of you enjoyed your holidays and that you have much love, wealth, & happiness in 2013!
On days like today, when the unfortunate death of innocent children & unknowing adults is made known in the national media, it reminds me why I am so grateful for what I do for a living. We will NEVER know all the details of what tomorrow holds, or when it may be the last day we have with a loved one. So to be able to capture those moments that mean the world to my clients, it also means the world to me. I just have to think these families and friends affected by this tragedy today, will surely be eternally appreciative of those last few photos they have of their loved ones from which to remember them by. Along with the many before that. So if I can make hearts happy with my photos, than I feel like I’ve done my job.
So with all that being said, I’ve unfortunately let the everyday grind distract me from sharing with you LOTS of loving moments that I’ve captured over the last few months. So here’s some fall catch-up for you! I hope that it brings a smile to your face despite all that has gone on today.
(And please make sure to hug your loved ones today and let them know how much they mean to you!)

I’m still playing mad catch up with my blog posts these days! It’s been a busy summer and fall! This session was back from August when I went to visit the Hallisy family to celebrate their little Madeline’s 1st birthday! With the rain and the wind running it’s course through Ohio on the edge of hurricane Sandy currently, these photos of this beautiful little girl sitting in the bright sunshine with the colorful flowers seemed like a wonderful distraction from the chill in the air.
Happy Monday!
