So I guess I’ve been fortunate enough to get in some animal photos lately! Yesterday I shared with you a gerbil, today I have the handsome horse, Gilmore, for you.  I will fully admit, I was beyond stoked when Jackie contacted me about getting some photos taken of herself, her mom, and Gilmore.  You see, when I got my first SLR (you know, the kind that you put film in!) as a little girl, my aunt took me out to a local farm with horses to practice shooting and to learn how to shoot manually.  So getting to photograph horses will always have a special place in my heart. It always brings me back to that day when I knew that photography would play an important role in the rest of my life.

I don’t often get asked to do pet photo shoots, but when I do, I get super excited!  There is just something special watching the bond between an animal and it’s owner.  It makes my heart smile.  It also makes me want to jump up from my seat this instant and head to the nearest pet store to get me some adorable little furball!  Haha.

I headed over to Jen’s to see this fun, adorable gerbil, Butters, that I have heard so much about! So stinking cute! And let me say, full of energy! It was hard to keep her from moving around so much to get a photo! Somehow we did though!  Check out all the cuteness below!
